Cravefree helps you quit nicotine. What you enter — your quit date, the products you used and how much, their prices, your reasons for quitting, daily check-ins, slips and what led to them — is stored only on your own device. Cravefree has no user accounts and no server of its own, and never sends this information to us or to anyone else. Because it describes your nicotine use, we treat it as sensitive, which is exactly why it never leaves your phone. Reminders and milestone notifications are scheduled on your device by iOS or Android; nothing is pushed from a server. Cravefree's widgets (Home Screen and Lock Screen on iPhone, Home Screen on Android) read the same data from your device to show your progress.
Cravefree shows no ads and contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. It does not ask for tracking permission and does not use your device's advertising identifier.
Cravefree is offered as a subscription (with an optional free trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments are handled directly by the App Store (Apple) on iPhone or by Google Play on Android — we never see your payment details. To confirm and remember that you have access, we use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription-management service, which receives an anonymous app user identifier and your App Store or Google Play purchase receipt, and gives us anonymous, aggregate subscription figures (such as how many people subscribe). RevenueCat never receives your quit data, your name, or your email address.
We have no legal basis to state for processing your quit data, because we never receive it: it is created, kept, and deleted on your device under your control. Processing your purchase through RevenueCat is necessary to provide the subscription or purchase you requested.
Your quit data stays on your device until you remove it. Delete all data in Cravefree's Settings, or deleting the app, removes everything Cravefree stored; we have no copy to keep or restore. If you back up your phone (for example to iCloud on iPhone or to your Google account on Android), Cravefree's data is included in that backup like any other app's, under Apple's or Google's terms. Purchase records are kept by Apple or Google and by RevenueCat under their own retention policies, not ours.
We do not sell, share, or transmit your quit data to any third party. The one service Cravefree talks to is RevenueCat, described above, and only to verify your purchase. Links in the app to quitlines and support services open in your browser or phone app; Cravefree does not pass any of your data to them.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. Since Cravefree sends us nothing to act on, these rights mostly concern the data on your own device, which you already fully control and can delete at any time. For any other question, email us at support@moksoftware.es. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es).
Cravefree is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, of any age.
